What’s Wrong with New Brunswick Tourism? – Part Three

ANATOMY OF A DORY

Are things starting to come together? I have more good news to report! The Honourable Rick Doucet, MLA for Charlotte-The Isles has emailed a second time. He has offered to help me out with New Brunswick Tourism and I really appreciate it.

Still, silence from the the Honourable Trevor Holder, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Healthy Living.

Keep up the good (frustrating) work, Barry. A few years ago I tried to find workshops on Vancouver Island and the islands of the Georgia Straight. I contacted various chambers of Commerces and official town and city websites etc….nothing. The east coast powers that be are not the only ones unable to see past their own red tape. Perhaps a voice such as yours will open their little tiny eyes. The various levels of government “say” they support the arts but, well, unless a hockey stick is involved….
Don’t give up and I hope to see that lovely island again and bring all my friends, thanks to you.

Nice to hear from you, Penny. You’ve got it right about support for the arts. You and all your friends are invited! Should we have an Alberta week?

  2. Mary Hughes Says:

I am loving the ongoing saga. Never give up is my family motto.
