You are one talented guy. I love those drawings, completely love them. The pillows on the chair is exquisite.

I can’t imagine that you sell drawings from your sketchbook, but if you do I’d be very interested in purchasing that one. Such depth, such tonal variety, such texture. Lovely, just lovely.

    Once again, very valuable insights.

The drawing of the cushions and the sofa, boy I love your pencil work! You draw like a painter, even a sculptor! The light is incredible, it’s a long time since a simple drawing made such an impression on me.

Thanks for all of the positive comments. I love to draw and just about any subject can inspire me but it’s usually the light that attracts me to the seemingly prosaic things like cushions on a chair. As such, I’m very flattered by Keith’s comments but I must point out that these are pen drawings, not pencil. I’ll show a photo of my sketchbook and pens in a future post.
Rob: The sketches are NFS until I’m homeless, starving and destitute although I’ll trade a lifetime of sketchbooks for a small villa in Tuscany.
