Jury Duty! Toronto Watercolour Society

Today was jury day for AQUAVISION, the Toronto Watercolour Society’s 25th Anniversary Spring show. I was asked to jury with well-known artist and art educator, Rudolf Stussi (http://www.rudolfstussi.com/). Rudi is on the left of the photo and Bianka Guna, TWS Show Chair, is in the middle. Some of the 140 submitted works are in the background.

Jurying is always a challenge. I enjoyed working with Rudi. We agreed on many things and negotiated, as jurors do, in some cases. A group like the TWS offers an abundance of quality work for selection and there were many tough decisions. Ten prizes were awarded.

The show will be held at the Todmorden Mills Papermill Gallery and opens on Sunday, March 21 from 2-4 pm. Drop by and see what you think of our decisions.
